Luxor, Egypt is a tourist's dream, it is seeped in breathtaking history and the sun always shines. What images pass through your mind when thinking about this wondrous city? Temples? Pharaohs? Gold? Artefacts? The beauty of the Nile? Probably all of these. How about poverty? Hunger? illiteracy? Lack of Educational Resources? These things are rife in Luxor, the greatest open air museum in the world. The only people in Luxor who have a chance are those from wealthy families, or those who are lucky enough to work for tour companies, sadly, many people do not get this opportunity in life, The Luxor Project aims to provide children with the educational means to better their lives when they reach adult hood, after all, children are the future.
